Sheru's life story.

MY PET- SHERU 

My pet cat name is sheru. Although sheru is just a cat but he is more than a cat for us. He is our family member. A member for whom everyone cares about, love him, take cares of him and worry for him.

He is little stubborn, sleepy, innocent and cute. 😻

We do not bought him, we adopted him !

How he became our family member?

 He is 7 years old. 

7 years before, my cousin, Basim saw sheru in front of mosque. Sheru was helpless, newly borned, injured, starving and in dangered. He badly needs a help from someone. Basim took him to the home without asking from elders. Our elders also appreciate him for his generous step. we gave sheru a bowl of milk and put him in a corner.

Did not know what to do with him. He could not stand properly , if he stood, could not walk. Even he can not breath properly. His condition was so bad that we all thought he had few time to live and he would die anytime. 

 Next dawn, in fajr time, my mother heard his shaking voice. she can not leave him there. mamma called my father then papa take him upstairs and asked my brother to take him to the doctor, when doctor opens his clinic.

 He was diagnosed with a disease name, meningitis.

MENINGITIS

Inflammation of meninges, the membranous covering of the brain and spinal cord. many inflammatory diseases of the central nervous system also involve the spinal cord. causes of the inflammation include infection by bacteria, viruses, fungi , protozoa, rickets, parasites, and chemicals. In Cats , viruses, protozoa, and fungi are more frequent causes of meningitis and encephalitis than are bacteria.

TREATMENT OF MENINGITIS IN CATS

Supportive care measures that may be used includes intravenous fluids to keep your cat hydrated, medications to decrease brain swelling, pain medications to alleviate discomfort and nursing care.

Well that doctor told us about his treatment. We completed sheru's treatment and do extra care of him. Afterwards he was completely cure.

I still remember him playing, walking and running after been treated.

From that day he became our most loved family member.💗

SHERU'S HABITS

so! we had adopted him. 

Now onward we had to take care of his every needs; his food, his place of sleeping, etc. 

Some habits he adopted by himself, some are taught by us.

• The 1st thing we taught sheru is to pee outside the house. Whenever he feels nature call he asked us to open the door and he goes out. Or whenever he wants to go out he came to us and lead us to the gate and speaks through his actions that  i wanna go out.

• He is sleeping beauty😺.He comes home, eats well and find a peaceful place to sleep.

• Whenever he feels hungry, he came toward fridge and whosoever sees in kitchen started meow-meow-meow- probably saying i am hungry! give me my food .

• He always respond to his name, especially when papa calls him sheru! he turns and ran straight to the papa . When papa returns to home from office and sheru hears papa's voice, even he is sleeping, he wake up and ran to papa, lay down and ask him to love him.

• He gets angry when we don't respond to him, when we take time to open door for him, when it is little delay for his food or anything happens which makes him angry. He ignores our voice, don't listen to us, close his eyes and always moves his tail to and fro in anger.

SHERU'S FOOD

Cats are carnivores, depend upon the nutrients present in animals flesh for their dietary needs. even domesticated cats will adore freshly killed meat but cats are also opportunistic feeders and will readily take cooked food.

the natural diet does not include any vegetable stuff, but cats have been known to eat certain plants and grasses occasionally, usually as an emetic.

Initially we gave sheru cat food of company "me-o" but afterwards sometimes he refuse to eat. so we try a chicken's liver and he adore it.

Sheru knows very well of his place of eating. He stays there and wait for food to come. If any delay he start shouting and come to kitchen like where is my food, why you are not giving me
And one strange thing , if we take long time to give him food, stubbornly he  refused to eat and he just get angry and go outside the house.

 just being honest we all take cares of him like a little baby of our family 💕

   

SHERU'S TRAGIC PARTS OF HIS LIFE

• As I have told you earlier, when he met us he was newly born, helpless and injured. But we have given him everything what his life needs of.

And he recover soon !

But after few years, he felt ill badly. He even can not stand on his legs. His health was decline rapidly. He even can not eat or drink due to weakness.

We all were worried for him. We decided to take him to the doctor.

what happened there, was heart-breaking for all of us 💔

I was in my room, suddenly heard my brother's crying voice. We ask from him what did doctor told you about sheru?

He answered, doctor said that: "sheru is suffering from double pneumonia and he has 95% chances to die, means he has only 5% chances to live"

We all family members were in a state of sorrow, but even then we have started sheru's treatment, doctor told us about a course of injections but he has few chances to live.

papa gave saddaqah of sheru, a cat. yes he had gave.

you know what! he struggle through his illness and even have few chances to live, HE SURVIVES 💕

• After that recovery, he fully enjoys his life, when he wants to go out he went out, when he wants  to come home he came.

Few months before, when he came home, I received him, and I shout loudly. He was bleeding badly. His cheek was cut and full of blood. From his nose, his eyes and his mouth, blood was coming.

Rather to come inside, he went upstairs to the terrace. 

I ran upstairs, found him inside a shelter, I tried to clean his blood but it was so painful for him.

Brother came from university, I informed him about sheru's condition. Brother without taking a second, he went to take doctor home.

Doctor told us , he was badly injured in an accident . His front teeth were broken, his cheek was cut, his mouth was injured badly. He was in very painful condition.
Once again we gave him his full treatment!

by the grace of ALMIGHTY ALLAH he recover again ✨💗
